Free Your Feminine Super Powers

You know there’s more to being a woman—something joyful and powerful—but you don’t know how to find it.

You are exhausted because you keep driving yourself to achieve, produce, and win—at the cost of your inner life force.

You’re not just disconnected from your womb’s natural rhythms and processes—you’re pretty sure they’re working against you.

Zahra Haji's Moon Goddess Workbook

Goddess, it’s time to remember who you really are.

Do any of these sound like you:

You relate to your femininity as a disadvantage. You’ve spent your life emulating “however the guys do it” instead of using your feminine, lunar, and goddess energy to thrive. You’re burning out fast and don’t know how to give yourself a break without feeling guilty.

Your period is the worst week of your month. You have no idea how you can honor, celebrate, and activate your body’s natural rhythms and understand what they’re telling you. You only wish your menstrual cycle was a superpower you could harness to enrich your whole life.

You feel like a failure for not getting pregnant (or for getting pregnant and then miscarrying). Every time you get your period, you feel betrayed by your body. You’re terrified it’s going to let you down on your deep desire to have a baby.

You’re worried being over 40 means you’re too late to connect to your womb wisdom. You grieve the years you struggled through major life changes instead of integrating them with choice and intention. You’d love to tap into the power of the Goddess archetypes to experience your divine feminine energetic potential, but you wouldn’t know where to start.

Your yoga practice is goal-oriented instead of organic, exhausting instead of replenishing. You’re tired of pushing your body to succeed at poses, and judging yourself when it doesn’t—isn’t there a yoga practice that celebrates the feminine?

Here’s the good news:

Your female body really is as wise as you hope (no matter how old you are), and you can stop worrying and start celebrating that you have found your way home to yourself.

You’re in the right place if:

=

You yearn to connect with your feminine body — You were taught to judge your body for looking the “wrong way,” to survive your period and push away your cycle the rest of the month, to “fix” your physique with punishing yoga and exercise that focused on meeting goals—anything but to love and honor this magical female form of yours.

=

You want to undo decades of disconnect from your femininity — You finally have some time and space for yourself, and here you are wanting to know, really know, who you are as a woman, in a world that only ever really rewarded you for acting like a man. But it all feels vague, confusing, and maybe even too late to try and experience your embodied femininity after all this time.

=

You are struggling to conceive, or to carry a healthy pregnancy — The most natural function of your female body has been medicalized, control over your fertility rests in doctors’ hands, and you’re terrified your body is too broken to do this—it has betrayed you.

Your instinct is right: there is another way.

Women’s ancient wisdom is still active and available today.

Your womb does contain immense power that you can harness to live a great life and thrive as a woman.

And I’ve drawn on my many years of working with women and their bodies to write a book that shows you how with a daily yoga practice that supports your feminine blossoming.

“Tracking each day, my feelings, my weaknesses, my strengths has helped to guide my actions throughout the month and it has helped me to be more compassionate toward myself, understanding where I am in the month and what my innate abilities are based upon where I am in my cycle. This has been a game changer for myself and my relationships, changing the dynamics of my parenting, my work-life balance, and my overall sense of self acceptance. I’m so grateful and I think my family is too!”

~ Lauri Brammer

In ancient times, women were taught the wisdom of their female bodies. In modern times, we’ve been forced into a linear, male-centric way of doing everything, including yoga and meditation.

Here’s what I want you to know: you can move through your life and your yoga practice as a feminine being in touch with her masculine side but not ruled by it.

So how do we return to this ancient way of being we’re sure is embedded in us?

It’s as simple as REMEMBERING we’re not linear, we are beautifully cyclical.

“Expanding beyond the daily circadian cycle to work with monthly and seasonal rhythms is one aspect of feminine power that may seem small but is actually life-changing. And in the present day, women are returning in droves to this natural, cyclical way of being that we used to follow instinctively. We are remembering what we forgot: that we function differently from men, and that we function best in a rotation based around the cycles of nature and our bodies. We honor the deepest truths of ourselves when we embrace the lost art of living cyclically. We experience our greatest power when we return to the magic of the feminine.”

~ Moon Goddess Workbook, p. 7

I have gathered all my wisdom on this topic, born across nearly a decade and a half of working with women just like you, and put it in a book.

Moon Goddess Workbook: A Feminine Approach to Yoga and Cyclical Living is a collection of fundamental truths about our inherent capacities as women—a guide to remembering who you are. It will show you how to:

=

Understand the four Goddess archetypes and apply the energy of each in your life, no matter what age or stage you are in

=

Experience my signature Moon Goddess yoga practice that follows the phases of the moon and your womb

=

Align your being and doing with nature’s cycles, whether you have a menstrual cycle or not

=

Relate to your femininity as your superpower, in cycle-specific ways

=

Reclaim your fertility and your trust in your body

=

Reclaim the sacred rite of menstruation

Use daily, female-centric yoga to reconnect with nature and your body

Dwell in peace and power inside your magical, natural female form

=

And so much more

“Still quietly observing each phase and trying to tune in to find my cycle. I’m noticing huge changes in my personal perspective towards myself and specifically my relationship with myself as a woman vs a robot. I’m thinking very seriously about removing my explanation and letting go of that programmed “same way everyday” portion of my life. Focusing on the energy shifts and journaling to find patterns has been a total thrill!!”

~ Angela DiCiccio

“When it comes to creating our lives as women—to making change, to aligning more and more closely with what we’re called to be and do—working with our shifting cyclical energies is our superpower. And when it comes to superpowers, who could ask for more than the four feminine archetypes? Maiden, Mother, Enchantress, and Wise Woman—these Goddess energies are embodied in our feminine selves, each offering their unique strengths and capabilities to us at different ages and stages of our lives.”

~ Moon Goddess Workbook, p. 9

“Being aware of what is actually happening in my body and what it means, empowered me to pull back from stressful situations during this time. I am able to allow myself – without guilt – to rest and surrender to my cycle.”

~ Erin Taylor

Since our bodies operate so intricately in tune with nature, being present in our bodies through this practice is a wonderful way to reconnect with our feminine super-energy. This allows us to depart from driving our bodies to the limits set by a masculine standard, and instead to practice yoga with a deep honouring of our femininity and our cycles.”

~ Moon Goddess Workbook, p. 37

“My heart is full, my moons are seen, and I feel so grateful for your labor of love, Zahra – by putting together something we all needed to embrace the magic in our cycles.”

~ Pia Crosby

Now a little more about me…

Back in 2006, a musician friend of a friend started calling me the Yoga Goddess. I thought it was cute and fun, but nothing more than a pet name.

But then in meditation the guidance came through: my business should be called Yoga Goddess. The name arrived complete with logo.

So without knowing anything about the Goddess back then, I accepted the call.

I went back to Yoga School for Women’s Studies. I found the teachings of Miranda Gray and Dr. Christiane Northrup. I learned that women’s cycles mirror the phases of the moon… that I wasn’t psycho, I was cyclical… and I was astounded.

Zahra Haji's Moon Goddess Workbook

“I have never known the connection between the moon cycle, menstrual cycle, and earth/seasonal cycle, and it is blowing my mind, Zahra! I feel so grateful for this new knowledge and how I feel that it is about to completely change my outlook on my life, my femininity, and my moods and energy levels.”

~ Sarah Steuer

I still couldn’t understand why the Divine would give all women pain every month.

So I questioned and researched and I found the answers that led me to create my signature Moon Goddess yoga and meditation practice.

I started teaching in 2008, with the intention of helping other women heal period pain and crazy mood swings by showing how our cycles work in relationship with the moon and how kundalini yoga reconnects us with our divine feminine through Mata Shakti, the mother energy of creation.

I also wanted to teach other healer-women to share this knowledge, so that together we could build up a team of yoga goddesses bringing women back to the knowledge of their sacred feminine birthright.

But it was women who were trying to conceive who showed up at my classes. They would write me weeks later saying they were pregnant, even after years of infertility. It felt like a miracle.

Now after more than a decade of working with women from Singapore to Australia, Argentina to Canada, South Africa to the U.S., I’m hearing from YOU.

Women who have noticed this mysterious connection between their period and the moon.

Women who want to heal their crazy painful periods and bonkers pms.

Women who want to conceive.

Women who want to connect with Divine Feminine energy.

The time is now.

Let me support you towards your healing and becoming who you’re meant to be in the world.

“I started doing the postures and holding space for myself as a woman. And sure enough I came to realize that I am a part of the great cycle! The rebirth, the budding, the flowering, the closing – and the rebirth process begins again. Flowing with our moon, flowing with the changes of season. Such a gift.”

~ Dee Coons

~ Michelle Dunn-Loveless

Sound like magic? It is—ancient magic that is your birthright. The real magic here is that of your own feminine truth.

Forgetting our divine femininity is our problem; remembering it is our solution.

Section 4: Understanding Your Menstrual-Moon Connection, includes a refresher lesson on the menstrual cycle and what occurs during each phase, both physically and emotionally. Then it shows the different energy you are embodying in your life depending on which phase of the moon you bleed. Women who do not menstruate, or who do so irregularly, will also find how their energy aligns to the moon.

=

There is also a bonus section with a fertility sequence for women who wish to become pregnant.
