Happy Spring!

On March 20th we crossed over the equinox into springtime here in the Northern Hemisphere.  This day is also known as Ostara, after the German goddess of the season. She’s sometimes also referred to as Eostre, which is where we get the words Easter and East. Ostara is known and celebrated as the bringer of light and a symbol of balance. She is the ultimate symbol of Maiden energy, the energy of rebirth, new enthusiasm, mental clarity and physical vigour.

Join me for a revitalizing Full Moon meditation on Monday, March 29 at 4:45pm EST / 1:45pm PST / 9:45pm UK!

We see this Maiden energy reflected in the Full Sap Moon. The Sap Moon is named for the sap that begins to flow in the Northern Hemisphere this time of year.

The earth is awakening from her winter sleep, and here — running through the maples in the form of sap to be turned into sweet syrup — is the promise of a delicious spring.

It’s the perfect metaphor for the earth completing her awakening and transition into springtime and the Maiden.

Maiden season is the perfect time to welcome in fresh energy. What do we often do when Spring rolls around? Open all of the windows, deep clean our homes, clear clutter. This year take your clutter clearing, or Marie Kondo-ing to a deeper level. Is there anything in your life (old clothing and furniture aside), which you can release to allow space for fresh, new energy to enter? For example, are there relationships that are no longer nourishing you?

Here’s what Miranda Gray says about the March moon rays of Pink and White:

The Mother’s Pink Ray helps us to enrich our relationships with love and release connections that are not a free exchange of sustaining love. The beautiful soft White Ray envelopes us with unconditional love and light so we can bring this love into the world.”

Here’s what’ll happen when you join me for the live cast:

  • We’ll start by connecting with all the women who’ve come together live, forming our worldwide virtual circle as we introduce ourselves and share what’s brought us here.
  • We’ll be revitalized by the pink and white moon rays of the March full moon.
  • We’ll share what came up for us during the meditation, supporting and virtually holding our sisters.

Our meditation is happening live in the Yoga Goddess Support Circle on Monday, March 29 at 4:45pm EST / 1:45pm PST / 9:45pm UK.
